1. Government of Andhra Pradesh created XLr8 Andhra Pradesh Technology Business Accelerator (XLr8AP), with the vision to establish a world-class technology innovation ecosystem. The primary goal is to increase knowledge, wealth and employment in the State and beyond, as well as to establish collaboration with universities and their respective student populations to achieve the goal of the innovation policy of the Sunshine State of creating “one entrepreneur per family.” In this regard, we are organizing workshops, boot camps and other events to increase the consciousness level about entrepreneurship and innovation.

2. As per the scheduled events, APIS- XLr8AP has planned a 3 day start up boot camp for the innovators at the ideation stage from Andhra Pradesh. To start with, APIS has identified one mentor each from all the 13 districts. These mentors in turn identified around 114 students from their districts and helped them enroll in the self-paced training online training programme “Innovation Readiness Series®” by IC2 Institute, University of Texas, Austin. Three students were selected from each district who had successfully completed the course on time and scored well above the rest. The following students are got opportunity and attended for the “3 Day startup boot camp - Andhra Pradesh innovation society - XLr8 Tirupati, AP held on 15-17/09/2017

STARTUP INDIA ANDHRA PRADESH YATRA BOOT CAMP 1."Startup India Yatra" is an initiative which aims to scout grass root level entrepreneurs in Tier II/III towns of India. The Yatra provides a platform for budding entrepreneurs to realize their Startup dream by getting incubated at excellent facilities and taking their idea to the next level. Startup India Yatra has two objectives: Awareness about State and Startup India Policies Providing incubation offers and other incentives to selected Startups.

This boot camp program to be held on 27-08-2018 in NBKRIST campus. In this boot camp Sing Ex execution partner in assosociation with invest india Ministry of commerce and industry will conduct the following schedule.

Report on INDIA FIRST LEADERSHIP TALK SERIES ByShri Anand Mahindra on 8th January 2019 The three auditoriums are arranged with audio, video and internet facilities with 50 MBPS band width for the live session of the above mentioned program on 7th January 2019 and informed to all the students and faculty about this program. Trail running of live videos has been conducted from various links on 8th January from 10 AM to verify accuracy of entire system. All the students and faculty arrived into the auditorium at 1.45 PM and briefed about the topic of live session by In-charge, Institution Innovation Council(IIC) for 15 minutes. At 1.45 PM the session is started by opening the given live links, slide is appeared with title of the topic, Anand Mahindra and time with changing mode. The live session started at 2.00 PM in interview manner by Dr.AbhayJere, Chief Innovation Officer (CIO), MHRD, Govt. of India with Shri Anand Mahindra, Chairman, Mahindra group. This interview was in the form of question and answer manner and are related to student’sprosperity, innovations, entrepreneurship by building confidence and creative thinking. But live video disturbances occurred due to live streaming problems and posted same as a comment. The live telecast problem continued till 2.15 PM. Later the live program is continued in youtube link upto 2.46 PM. Shri Anand Mahindra started the program with explanation about happenings of failures, emotional balance during failure, doing interesting activity during that period to get away from failure. Finally taking that as experience and bouncing back to normal to move forward is the most important. He explained about mosaic type of role model by taking characteristics of number of great people instead of having one person as role model. Great leaders will transfer ownership of their ideas to their followers like Mahatma Gandhi, who inculcated right of freedom toevery Indian. He also expressed his views on Innovative ideas and analysing the failed innovative idea/project, suggested to give prize for failed innovation in addition to good innovative ideas. Also told about Start-ups, new ideas and developing clear vision for that start-up idea otherwise start-up may not sustain for long period. Finally, one should know the benefits behind every innovative idea before implementation. He expressed that everyone should do his work with passion so that stress will not take place during course of work and in life. He suggested to choose work in their interesting field and giving best is the main point behind success. He invitedinto Mahindra garage at any time for those having innovative idea to experiment and develop that into reality.Finally, he explained about collaborative business model to compete with each other. In the collaborative eco system ideas are exchanged and made into reality to have better competition. In this program, he answered various questions on importance of acquiring knowledge, giving best in work, innovations and start-ups, developing confidence and creative thinking. This talk is much helpful to our students and faculty and gives direction towards betterment of present work and also to think in other direction for innovations.

Report on Facebook Live session Workshop on IPR for Students and Faculty Members by Ms. Shwetasree Majumder
The three auditoriums are arranged with audio, video and internet facilities with 50 MBPS band width for the live session of the above mentioned program on 9th January 2019 and informed to all the students and faculty about this program. Trail running of live videos has been conducted from various links on 10th January from 8-30 AM to verify accuracy of entire system. All the students and faculty arrived into the auditorium at 1.15 PM and briefed about the topic of live session by In-charge, Institution Innovation Council(IIC) for 15 minutes. At 1.30 PM the session is started by opening the given live links, slide is appeared with title of the topic, Ms. Shwetasree Majumder and time with changing mode. The live session started Ms. Shwetasree Majumder at 1.30 PM delivering with PPT. This interaction started in peaceful manner and started explaining about how to secure the young innovation secured. The disturbances occurred due to live streaming problems and posted same as a comment. The live telecast problem continued initially some time. Later the live program is continued smoothly. She spoke how to patent our product and qualities required to get patent.She also explained which are not patentable with examples. She made difference between tangible and intangible properties. Secondly she spoke about the trademark and how this is valid to the products and how it defines with examples. she said that the trade mark may be in the form name ,logo, symbol and shape. It was also stated that the trade mark gives the official recognition to the product. She explained about copyrights and how it is useful for novels literary, music artistic and photographs. She also said how to protect the original product from the duplicate. She also spoke about the geographical indications, where it defines about the famous regional food productions protections. In this program, she answered various questions on importance of different categories of IPR and its protection. This talk is much helpful to our students and faculty and gives direction towards betterment of present work and also to think in other direction for innovations etc their protection.

The event was webinar planned to conduct simultaneously at different auditoriums to give opportunity to attendees. On 23rd January 2019, 3 auditoriums were arranged with audio, video and internet facilities and all the students and faculty were informed about the program. On 24th January 2019 from 9AM trail running of some videos has been started to verify the accuracy of the system. All the students and faculty arrived into the auditorium at 11-15 AM and briefed about the topic of live session by In-charge, Institution Innovation Council (IIC) for 15 minutes. At 11.55 AM the session is started by opening the given live links, slide is appeared with title of the topic, Dr. Anand Deshpande time with changing mode. The live session started at 11-30 AM in interview manner by Dr. Abhay Jere, Chief Innovation Officer (CIO), MHRD, Govt. of India as a questioner with Dr. Anand Deshpande, Founder, Chairman & Managing Director Persistent Systems Ltd. The CIO introduced about Dr. Anand Deshpande. He holds a B. Tech. (Hons.) in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur, and a M.S. and Ph.D. in Computer Science from Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana, USA. As a true technology visionary, Dr. Anand’s strengths lie in identifying and investing in nextgeneration technologies and encouraging internal entrepreneurship to ensure that Persistent Systems stays at the forefront of technology innovation. This interview was in the form of question and answer manner. The live telecast continued till 12.30 PM. The questions were categorised into three types and are related to 1.Planning for Career, 2.Future industry trends and 3.Startup. Dr. Anand Deshpande started the program with explanation of how he started the company during 1990’s having gained experience at HP in California, USA. He had a strong desire to work in India by starting his own company. He expressed that life is a process of learning and we should constantly keep us updating with new technology. We should not rely on single technology without learning a new one. He said the importance of communication skills for a person who desires to become an entrepreneur. He said that, instead of becoming entrepreneur at the beginning of career it’s better to gain experience by working somewhere. At the earlier stage we must know how to build a network of people. To become an entrepreneur in life we must choose a problem to find a solution on the basis of which we start a company. He also discussed about the importance of sales as it promotes the customers for a company and also he gave a suggestion not to feel shame to choose sales as a career. This talk is much helpful to all the budding entrepreneurs and also for others to develop in their career.

The auditoriums is arranged with audio, video facilities for the session of the above mentioned program on 23rd January 2019 And informed to all the students and faculty about this program. The workshop Poster are posted in the IIC face book account and institute website well in advance the program. Trail running has been conducted for smooth functioning of the program. On 24 -Jan All the students and faculty arrived into the auditorium at 3.00 PM and briefed about The program by student coordinator of Institution Innovation Council (IIC) for 5 minutes. At 3.30 PM the session is started by prayer song. The speaker was introduced by the student coordinator. The session started Dr.P.Nanda Kumar at 3.30 PM delivering with PPT. Before going to actual session he explained about tangible and intangible properties. This interaction started in peaceful manner and started explaining about how to secure the young innovation secured. The history and the origin IPR are explained. He explained how to patent our product and qualities required to get patent. He also explained which are not patentable with examples. Secondly He spoke about the trademark and how this is valid to the products and how it defines with examples. he said that the trade mark may be in the form name ,logo, Symbol and shape. This talk is much helpful to our students and faculty and gives direction towards betterment of present work and also to think in other direction for innovations etc their protection
