OBJECTIVES OF IIP-CELL

1. To arrange different training programmes such as mock written text, group discussions mock interviews, personality development courses, etc.

2. To conduct professional training programmes outside the curricula to provide better placements.

3. To provide better Industry Institute Interaction

4. Developing close links between Industry-Institute by interaction programs.

5. To encourage industry and organizations for placement and training of students in Industries.

6. Widening & Implementing R&D programmes, sponsored and joint R&D projects from industries, in the Institute.

7. To conduct Industrial Training and Industrial Visits for the students and faculty. To conduct industrial exhibitions to highlight research facilities and expertise available with the Institute.

8. To encourage Industry to collaborate in Industry Study Tour Programme (ISTP) / Intern-ship Programme.

9. Organizing seminars, symposiums, exhibitions and workshops.

10. Publishing and issuing technical bulletins/news letters and course material with latest technological developments.

11. Collaborating with other societies (National and International) having similar objectives.

12. Conducting Industrial and Technical Exhibitions.

13. Organizing guest lectures on latest technological advancements, evaluation of project work, and workshops from industrial experts in the Institute.

 ACTIVITIES

1. Maintenance, coordination & promotion of Consultancy services, establishment of proper links, with departments, agencies.

2. Maintain and distribute funds obtained from Consultancy Services for strengthening of the University/Institute/Department.

3. Encourage Industry to collaborate in Industry Study Tour Programme (ISTP)/Intern ship Programme, placement of students in Industries.

4. Assist Industries in obtaining tax incentives from GOI by supporting R&D programmes in the Institution, promote sponsored and joint R&D projects.

5. Organise Industrial Training and Industrial Visits for the students and faculty. Organise Industrial exhibitions to highlight research facilities and expertise available with the academic institutions.

6. Training of Industrial Personnel in the Technical Institutes, exchange of personnel between the Industries and Institute by way of involving Industry personnel in delivering lectures on latest technological growth, evaluation of project work, development of curricula as per industry need and other academic work, in institutions.

7. Singing of MOU on behalf of the institution.
